I recently had the pleasure of working closely with Darryl Greene on a township initiative, the installation of “Isley Brothers Way” honorary street signs on Van Arsdale Place, honoring the legendary rock and R&B group, who hailed from Teaneck. Darryl stepped in to a project that was dead in the water due to COVID, breathed life into it and was instrumental in bringing it to fruition. He makes things happen.
But more than that, Darryl is the consummate mensch. When challenged with dealing with difficult people and situations, he maintained his dignity and focused only on one thing: achieving a successful event. I am confident he will bring those same qualities to the job as a member of the Teaneck board of education.
Darryl’s name will appear under Column 6 on Election Day, Tuesday, November 2.
