(Courtesy of Lubavitch on the Palisades) Participants of Lubavitch on the Palisades’ four-week course, “Colorful Profiles,” celebrated their class graduation on Tuesday evening. Taught by Rabbi Mordechai Shain, the course covered the stories of 12 extraordinary individuals in Jewish history, including Jewish converts, captives, royal advisers, philanthropists, and more. Learning about the sacrifices and achievements of these individuals was empowering and inspiring, giving insight on how yesterday’s Jews navigated today’s issues.
