MIPAC (Ma’ayanot Israel Political Action Committee) is off to a great start. Last week, students lobbied members of Congress at AIPAC’s Schusterman Advocacy Institute High School Summit in Washington, D.C., with their adviser Yael Weil. They also started a new Lunch & Learn program in school led by Nitzan Levy of the ACT.IL media room. Students receive specialized training advocating for Israel via social media. The group meets weekly and will culminate with a guest panel of women experts in Israel advocacy and a presentation of projects created by students defending Israel in the online community.
