Ma’ayanot is thrilled to welcome six incredible women—Meira Berner, Zahava Fertig, Sara Finkelstein, Neti Linzer, Leora Moskowitz and Meira Wagner—from YU’s GPATS (Graduate Program in Advanced Talmudic Study) to our inaugural Ma’ayanot-GPATS fellowship! These women are learning from Ma’ayanot’s renowned faculty and school leaders as they observe classes and engage in discussions and seminars tailored to them. The program is being coordinated by Mrs. Hertzberg, the assistant principal of Judaic Studies, and Rabbi Chanales and is a partnership between Ma’ayanot and YU’s newly established Chinuch Incubator, an initiative aimed at identifying, inspiring, preparing and supporting young men and women as they consider careers in Jewish education.

The Ma’ayanot students are enjoying small group chaburot with the Ma’ayanot-GPATS fellows who come to school every Friday to learn with the 11th and 12th grades.
