(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) As a yearly tradition, Mayor Steven Fulop of Jersey City sold his chametz and the chametz of the town of Jersey City through the rabbis of Bris Avrohom. At the time of selling, he received shmura matzah from Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky and Rabbi Baruch Lepkivker.

This year, the mayor asked to don tefillin prior to selling the chametz, saying that an additional mitzvah will help another Jew.
