Rayna Boutique: Teaneck’s Newest Store  Featuring Modest Clothing

(Courtesy of Rayna Boutique) Rayna Boutique is Teaneck’s newest women’s and teens’ one-stop shop for beautiful, stylish and affordable modest clothing. Rayna Boutique is owned by Adrianne Mittan and Emma Horowitz, two former city girls now living in Teaneck with their families. As working women, Adrianne and Emma have to dress nicely for work and also love getting dressed up. Constant layering wasn’t doing it for them anymore. After spending weeks hunting online and driving to multiple malls for modest cocktail dresswear, they had had enough, and Rayna Boutique was born. The goal was to find clothing they would buy because they actually liked it, instead of because “it’s long enough” or “it has sleeves.”

Rayna Boutique sells dresses, separates and accessories that are sourced from all over the Jewish and secular fashion world. The store sells pieces that can be worn to shul, to the office, or to weddings, simchas or any other special event. Most separates are transitional and can be dressed up or down, depending on your mood. Rayna Boutique makes a point of carrying items that will fit both tall and petite customers; there is a seven inch height difference between Adrianne and Emma, so they always know which item is the right length and fit for each customer. Their fashions have been very popular with the bat mitzvah and teen crowd – and their mothers.

Rayna Boutique’s well-appointed space has a roomy and comfortable dressing room. Service is always attentive without ever being pushy. The generous return policy and reasonable price points keep customers coming back.

The fall/winter collection includes pieces from Front Row Couture, Japparel, Jenn Label, Junees, Maggy London and Studio Label 18. Adrianne and Emma are excited to carry these brands and more in the spring. Some new labels will include Mikah, Molly Bracken, London Times and MJM. Many of these brands are not available anywhere else in Bergen County.

Rayna Boutique, opened in September 2017, is located at the Mittan home, 148 Norma Road in Teaneck, right near Holy Name Hospital. The first trunk show will be held on Saturday night, December 2, from 8-10 PM. Also joining Rayna Boutique will be Sheila Elaine fascinators and The Coat Girl.
