On December 26, The Moriah middle school kicked off a weekly Sephardic Minyan led by Rav Adiel Mhazri. This new initiative builds upon the weekly Sephardic tefillah program implemented in the lower school earlier this year. Moriah’s Sephardic Culture Committee has focused on integrating a regular program of Sephardic tefillah in the two divisions over the 2023-2024 academic year. The goal is to create the building blocks for a meaningful understanding of, and connection to, students’ Sephardic heritage.
