This week Moriah kindergarten students were given “toothpick challenges” to complete. This was an independent activity. Each child had to pick six different task cards, read the task card, construct and record the given task. This activity promoted following directions, visual skills, fine motor skills, planning and reading. This activity was a real challenge that was conquered by all.
