Last week Moriah kindergartners and their parents came to school for a Shema and PJ party. The children came dressed in their pajamas and shared special activities and song together. In their individual classrooms they made personalized tzedaka boxes. They then joined together with the other classes for a story, read by Morah Divsha, followed by a kumzitz-style musical program led by Rabbi Alter. To add to the very special evening, the Izrailevs brought their new baby boy so he could have a brit Yitzchak or a vacht nacht. The children sang Shema and Hamalach Hagoel as two of their songs. The program concluded with treats of ice cream, chocolate milk and their own emoji cookies! Fun was definitely had by all!
