Moriah nursery kids all agreed that it’s not much fun being sick and staying home from school—they would much rather be at Moriah with their friends and morot. This week, everyone spent lots of time learning how to keep germs at bay. The nursery children learned all about how to be healthy. They know that some important ways to stay healthy are washing hands, covering your mouth, eating healthy foods, exercising, getting enough sleep, brushing your teeth and taking a bath or shower. Each child made his or her own “Healthy Habits Book.” They also practiced their new “Hebrew healthy habits” vocabulary by washing one of the classroom “babies.” It was a fun and interactive way to practice their Hebrew. The school hopes that by employing these simple habits, kids will be together with their friends at school every day.
