Moriah School Early Childhood

Moriah EC enjoyed an amazing program in honor of this special day. It began with a daglanut, where the children enjoyed watching the graceful moves and dances of the older children with Israeli flags. They then “visited Israel,” where all of the activities related in some way to Eretz Yisrael. The children enjoyed creating bracelets in an art studio in Tzfat, putting a personal note in the Kotel in Yerushalayim, going to the Shuk for a pita snack, visiting a cafe in Tel Aviv for ice cream, going on an archeological dig in the desert, enjoying fresh squeezed orange juice at a kibbutz and experiencing “boot camp” at an army base! The activities were conducted in Hebrew, as if we were really in Israel. As a finale to this terrific day, the children marched along with the early childhood department in a parade, with flags held aloft and voices raised in song.
