Moriah Mountaineers vs. Yavneh Redhawks

(Courtesy of Moriah Sports) In front of a full house and a roaring crowd, the Moriah Mountaineers battled the Yavneh Redhawks in an unforgettable Yeshiva League Championship matchup. It was a tight contest from start to finish, with both teams leaving everything on the court.

Moriah’s defense stepped up in a big way, locking down Yavneh’s top shooter and turning up the intensity when it mattered most. Leila Pinewski led the defensive charge with grit and hustle, while Layla Csillag, Noa Bleier, and Winnie Herman powered the offense with key plays all game long.

But it wasn’t just the players on the court—Moriah’s bench brought unmatched energy, keeping the team fired up and focused every step of the way. That team spirit was a difference-maker, lifting the Mountaineers to a thrilling 41–38 victory!
