Naaleh High School marked Yom Ha’Atzmaut with a moving and meaningful program centered around the theme “B’derech Emunah Bacharti”—the powerful message seen on Agam Berger’s whiteboard when she was rescued from Gaza. Students explored how Eretz Yisrael strengthens our emunah in both joyful and difficult times. Teachers portrayed different types of Jews visiting from Israel, sharing how their unique experiences deepened their faith, and also offered personal reflections. Each student received a whiteboard with the quote and was invited to write their own message of emunah—later symbolically locking it in by exchanging their dry-erase marker for a permanent one. The celebration continued at Saddle River Park with sports, games and beautiful weather, capped off with a festive Israeli-style Yalla lunch and time to connect and enjoy.
