The Naaleh juniors ventured on a transformative two-day Ahavas Yisrael trip, visiting a variety of Orthodox communities within the tri-state area, including the Satmar, Lubavitch, New Square, Syrian communities and Yeshiva University. They engaged with community members in their homes, shuls and schools in thoughtful dialogue and fun conversations, shedding misconceptions and discovering common values. This trip, one of the highlights of their high school years, significantly broadened the students’ perspectives on their personal avodas Hashem. They returned to school filled with appreciation for different streams of yiddishkeit and excitement about what it means to be part of a wider community.
