Mrs. Davis’s Navi classes took matters into their own hands to prove to Yeshayahu that the Jewish people have improved since his times. After learning Perek Alef of Yeshayahu, where the navi accuses the Jews of disregarding social justice, the girls focused on different communities—including their school, town and family—to formulate informed responses to show Yeshayahu that the bar has been raised since his time.
