Parsha Comes Alive With STEM Activity at RPRY

Connecting Torah and science! The pre-k classes at Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva performed a STEM activity learning about sinking and floating. The children took turns putting various items in the water and seeing if they sink or float. Morah Mimi Blumenkrantz connected it to Parshat Noach, explaining that the teiva was made out of wood. The children then made predictions whether the wood would sink or float. They put a piece of wood that Morah Mimi brought into the water and it floated! What a great way to see the parsha come to life!
