Abraham Munder (Avraham Gilad ben Emunah), 79, lived on Kibbutz Nir Oz for 60 years prior to Oct. 7, when he, his wife Ruti, 78, their daughter Keren, 54, and her son Ohad, 8, were abducted by Hamas terrorists. Their son Roi Munder, 50, was killed. Ruti, Keren and Ohad were released in November, while Abraham remains in captivity.

Abraham sings in a choir and loves playing with his grandchildren. He is in poor health and needs medications which he has not taken since his abduction. Said Itay Raviv, Abraham’s great-nephew, “Honestly, we don’t know what to do anymore. We’re desperate. We’re calling out to the world, to our government, to everybody, to everyone who thinks they’re a leader of some sort, for help.”
