Irv Safdieh and his band played a private concert for the Ramaz Middle School students and parents. They performed everyone’s favorite Hebrew and Israeli hits, including “Od Yoter Tov,” “Mashiach,” “Am Yisrael Chai,” and even a rock ‘n roll version of “Hatikvah!” The energy was so incredible in the room that Irv and his band said Ramaz was one of the best crowds they’ve ever played to. The assembly also heard inspiring words from Eric, an injured Israeli policeman who served in a special anti-terrorist unit. He said that while his job is to protect the people of Israel physically, our job is to protect the name of Israel through advocacy and spreading the truth.
