Ramaz eighth graders took an absolutely mind-blowing trip to Israel, filled with fun adventures, fascinating education, meaningful spiritual reflection and touching chesed. Just some of the many, many highlights included running a carnival for children in Netivot, painting new bomb shelters at Kibbutz Erez, delivering packed knapsacks to soldiers serving in Gaza, praying at the Kotel, exploring cities including Jerusalem and Tzfat and even rappelling down the side of a cliff! The students bravely left their comfort zones and dedicated themselves to every aspect of their trip, bonding deeply as a grade and growing powerfully as people.
