Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

(RJFL) RJFL, sponsored by Whee/SR Play, has officially reached the halfway point of the regular season. Teams are beginning to find their rhythm, as evidenced by the thrilling action in the Teaneck Conference. Four of the six games were decided by just one score, highlighting the league’s competitiveness. In a dramatic finish, the Brudershaft and BSYD provided the first tie of the season. Akiva Feit connected with Ian Bromberg on a last-second touchdown pass to end the game 25-25.

Meanwhile, the Beepers continued their dominant campaign, overpowering the Passaic/Clifton Cobras with a commanding 52-26 victory. Abe Goldman led the charge with five passing touchdowns and Zach Stein added one of his own with a diving pick-six

 

As week four wraps up, four teams across both conferences remain undefeated: New Hempstead Pediatrics and Lumina Care from Monsey, as well as the Disciples of Discipline and the Beepers from Teaneck. Looking ahead, the second round of interconference games is set to provide more excitement, with the highly anticipated game of the week, pitting Lumina Care against the Disciples of Discipline. Fans won’t want to miss it!
