RJFL week 2, sponsored by the Simcha Package, proved that just about any team in the league has the potential to win it all. Four games kicked off, and three came down to the wire.

The Beepers continued to assert themselves as championship favorites with a statement win over BSYD. Clinging to a two-point lead late in the second half, the Beepers forced several key turnovers to shut down BSYD’s comeback hopes.

Camp Sport bounced back in a big way, shutting out Yeshiva League Pass in a dominant defensive performance.

The clash between the Brudershaft and the Ponies was a defensive battle from start to finish. Down two approaching the final minute, the Brudershaft broke through with a game-winning touchdown.

But the biggest shock of the week came from The Corner Slice, who delivered a blowout win over powerhouse Jewish Link. They looked unstoppable. Every team has proven they can compete. It is just a matter of who gets hot at the right time. Everyone is excited to see how the standings will turn out when the regular season ends.
