Yom HaZikaron was commemorated at RKYHS with programming that enabled students to comprehend the gravity of the day. During the programming at RKYHS, faculty and students memorialized fallen members of the IDF as well as victims of terror. Emotional videos and poignant musical tributes by Rabbi Chamudot and Rabbi Schlusselberg, accompanied by personal reflections from Rabbi Chamudot, evoked the magnitude of sadness and mourning that envelopes Yom HaZikaron as we remember all those that made the ultimate sacrifice for the Land of Israel. All students wore stickers bearing a photo of the spotted orange butterfly that was recently renamed in honor of Ariel Bibas. At the conclusion of the moving program, RKYHS students learned together in the merit of all those who have been killed and murdered.
