RPRY was filled with blue and white in honor of Yom Ha’Atzmaut! The day began with a beautiful school-wide Hallel at OT led by Rabbi Ribalt and Avi Maza’s acapella singers. Then, community members, parents and grandparents joined for the annual festive Yom Ha’Atzmaut parade around the school, which concluded with singing and dancing on the school blacktop.

In the afternoon, the students enjoyed a lively, interactive, educational activity organized by our b’not sherut, with booths run by RPRY’s excellent teachers. Each activity represented a division of צה״ל and the students were provided with an overview of what that division does and a game or activity demonstrating or mimicking the skills needed to be successful in that unit. The students left with a sense of gratitude to Hashem for giving us both the State of Israel and the incredible Israel Defense Force.
