This past week, the fifth graders presented their biography book reports to their class. Each student selected an influential person to research and had the option to either write a report or create a scrapbook detailing that person’s life. The scrapbooks, which many students chose to create, included photos, key dates and other items to highlight important moments in their subjects’ lives. Not only did the students learn about significant historical figures, but they also had the opportunity to showcase their creativity.
