RTMA Alumni Demonstrate Dedication to Torat Yisrael, Medinat Yisrael & Am Yisrael

While classroom lessons are usually absorbed just by the mind, lessons learned at the RTMA are absorbed by mind, body and soul, as demonstrated by this week’s alumni reunion at Jerusalem’s Café Rimon.

Close to fifty graduates of the Rav Teiz Mesivta Academy attended the lunch reunion, hosted by visiting RTMA principal Rabbi Ami Neuman and RTMA Israel Guidance Coordinator Rabbi Michael Parness, including a half a dozen alumni who are currently proudly serving in the IDF.

Students credit the Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy for inculcating them with a strong love for Torah study, the land and people of Israel.

“I feel like this is where I am meant to be, “ said 2015 graduate Azzi Kimmel of Hillside, NJ, who is currently studying in Yeshivat Mevaseret Tziyon Shana Bet. “RTMA instilled in me a sense a Zionism and love for Eretz and Medinat Yisroel since day one. Our rebbeim and teachers gave over their love for Torah and Eretz Yisroel, and showed us that these two things need to be a central focus of our lives.”

The young men in attendance reflected several years of alumni, with many of the graduates in years two and three in their post-high school yeshiva study. Some of the soldiers have already made aliyah, with others poised to follow suit.

“What an amazing experience visiting with our graduates who are learning, serving and living in Eretz Yisrael,” said Rabbi Neuman following the get-together. “These young men are all growing so much and we are extremely proud of all their accomplishments. Kol hakavod!”
