Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Centered around the yeshiva-wide theme of כאיש אחד בלב אחד, the students’ day was filled with meaning and connection. The morning began with the entire yeshiva learning and completing חמישׁה חומשׁי תורה together. Each class was given specific perakim from the Chumash to learn, and the entire Torah was completed at the same time in the RYNJ building. This was followed by a powerful siyum haTorah, where Rabbi Price shared a meaningful story from the Chofetz Chaim about the incredible protective power of Torah learning, as well as heartfelt singing. The middle school students said Tehillim while each having in mind a different hostage, creating a more focused and personal tefillah experience. The lower school, inspired by Rav Doron Perez’s message which he shared with RYNJ staff five weeks ago, participated in the Bayit in Every Bayit project, an initiative created in memory of his son, Daniel, and all of the fallen soldiers of Israel. The project’s goal is to ensure that every Jewish home has a picture of the Beis Hamikdash, serving as a constant reminder of our ultimate mission. Each student prepared their own tile as part of this activity, which they will be able to bring home.
