RYNJ is excited to introduce a new initiative at the yeshiva thanks to the incredible artistic talents of Rabbi Avi Bernstein, RYNJ middle school principal. RYNJ recently unveiled the “Wall of Wisdom” in the center hallway on the top floor where the vast majority of students traverse every single day.

The initiative is rooted in the concept of וְהָי֥וּ עֵינֶ֖יךָ רֹא֥וֹת אֶת־מוֹרֶֽיךָ. RYNJ wants the children to be inspired by the wisdom and guidance of the great Jewish leaders, men and women. The pictures and quotes will serve as a daily reminder of the important values and principles that RYNJ aims to instill in its students.

The great Jewish leaders that were selected come from Litvish, Chassidic and Sefardic backgrounds and various time periods. They include gedolei hador, roshei yeshiva, rabbanim, rebbetzins and great women who inspired millions with their heart, thoughts and deeds.

The quotes that accompany each picture have been carefully selected to offer valuable lessons and insights for elementary school students. They cover a wide range of topics, including emunah in Hashem, the importance of limud haTorah, midos and connection through tefillah. These quotes will inspire RYNJ students to become their best selves and to make a positive difference in the world around them.
