Each week in Mr. Zamir’s 11th and 12th grade Mathematical Physics and 12th grade AP C Physics classes, extra credit assignments are offered that encourage students to learn more beyond the required curriculum.

By completing these assignments, students solve more advanced problems, learn about additional topics that are not covered in class, read about current events in physics, and design and interpret experiments.

Students who complete at least two thirds of the total number of assignments in an excellent fashion earn the Physics Challenge Award. These students have done most of the extra credit work that is assigned over the entire academic year. This represents a considerable amount of additional learning above and beyond the required curriculum. This year, 27 students earned the Physics Challenge Award. They are to be congratulated for their high commitment to the study of Physics. Their names are listed alphabetically (by last name).
