In preparation for this year’s presidential election, the seventh grade girls of SINAI at RYNJ are learning about the United States government. To further understand how the judicial branch works, the girls interviewed Judge Seth Dombeck. The girls prepared questions that they asked him during the zoom interview. Some of the things Judge Dombeck explained were the types of cases he deals with, the responsibilities of a judge, how court proceedings have been conducted during COVID-19 and the difference between a judge and justice. This interview brought to life what the students are learning in class. Thank you to Judge Dombeck for taking time to meet with SINAI at RYNJ.
