Yeshivat He’Atid students are excited to begin their STEM classes! The school is lucky to have none other than the amazing Liberty Science Center (LSC) provide STEM education for its students. Their award-winning STEM education team delivers engaging, curriculum-aligned science experiences to our first-fifth grade students throughout the year. Although classes are virtual this year, LSC’s electronic field trips and classroom teacher-led science labs bring STEM to life for our students. Second-graders began their first science unit learning about different bodies of water, water conservation and landforms. Students are looking forward to next week when they will take a virtual tour of different landforms, collecting characteristics of each. Along the way, they use these characteristics to differentiate the various forms of high and low land to collect clues and deduce the location of hidden treasure!
