April Is Busy for TABC Alumni

TABC was proud to host dozens of alumni who returned to visit TABC in the weeks before Pesach. The alumni had the opportunity to enjoy pre-chag shiurim from Rabbi Raphi Mandelstam, as well as their fellow alumni who are now TABC rebbeim, R’ Yehuda Avner ‘13 and Rabbi Ezra Stone ‘11. Alumni visitors have also made their mark in TABC’s classrooms over recent weeks. Yoel Jacobson ‘20 returned to the same classroom where he studied economics during his senior year, to address Cary Reichardt’s Introductory Economics/Financial Literacy students. Meanwhile, both Rabbi Jachter and Rabbi Einhorn’s shiurim had the pleasure of hearing from Mr. Rami Goldberg ‘98. Goldberg is a model TABC graduate who devotes regular time to Torah learning and teaching while running a business in Israel that employs over 70 people. Additionally. Shmuel Bak ‘18 had the unique privilege of substituting for Rabbi Yosef Adler’s honors Gemara shiur, a doubly special occasion as Shmuel is married to Rabbi Adler’s granddaughter.

Finally, TABC is proud that Josh Miller ‘20 and Yosef Morrison ‘20 were both named to the inaugural cohort of 10 YU Leadership Scholars. YU’s Leadership Scholars went through a rigorous selection process and were chosen based on their commitment to strengthening the Jewish and wider communities through chesed-based work, activism, volunteerism and social justice initiatives.
