TABC Students Head to Philly for Chesed Mission

Before Pesach, a delegation of TABC juniors and seniors, along with Rabbi Ezra Stone, headed to the South Jersey/Philadelphia area for a chesed trip. Their first stop was Inglis House, a residential home for paralyzed people. After learning about the home’s establishment and mission, the students painted and played music with the residents. The group then went to Rabbi Stone’s apartment in Cherry Hill to enjoy dinner and debrief. The next day students heard a shiur from the Rosh Kollel of Cherry Hill Rabbi Yona Klahr, who spoke about what it means to truly be a “free” person and have full control over one’s yetzer hara. Following the shiur, they headed to Mesameach in Lakewood where they organized the toy closet and packed up Pesach gifts for ill children and their families. Later, at The Special Children’s Center, the students had an opportunity to run an activity with special needs boys, building Lego and other cool creations.

As always, this chesed trip was a meaningful and memorable outing for TABC students.
