Some of the JEC HS junior class visited the New Jersey Vietnam Era Museum and Educational Center last week. This visit coincided with the work they are researching in their English class. They were fortunate to go with their teacher Luisa Frey and have amazing tour guides who really gave them a heartfelt experience and filled them with knowledge. Among other things, they saw a Huey helicopter used in Vietnam and stood by the wall of names of New Jersey soldiers lost in the war. They were given an opportunity to ask their questions and they were truly absorbed in the tour guide’s answers.
