To prepare for the upcoming holiday of Tu B’Shevat, the yeladim at Kol Chaverim Preschool in Fair Lawn learned all about trees. They also started the week with a special Rosh Chodesh assembly where they welcomed in the new month of Shevat! The children sang “Hallelu” and “Happy Rosh Chodesh.” They also sang, “Tu B’Shevat Higiyah.” The yeladim learned the names of the parts of a tree, painted shkeidiya trees with the bottom of a seltzer bottle, made a book of the seasons of trees and so much more. They can’t wait to have a Tu B’Shevat Seder together.
