Science in Action at Yeshivat He’Atid

At Yeshivat He’Atid, science comes alive through hands-on, age-appropriate learning experiences across every grade level.

In early childhood, pre-k students are observing real caterpillars in their classrooms, discovering the stages of the butterfly life cycle. With wide eyes and gentle hands, they’re learning about growth, change and the wonders of nature.

In the lower school, second graders explored deciduous forests with Liberty Science Center educators. Through interactive lessons and live animal encounters, they learned about seasonal changes, animal habitats and forest ecosystems.

In middle school, sixth graders took a deeper dive into environmental science, studying macroinvertebrates with Liberty Science Center. These tiny organisms help scientists assess water quality, and the students had the opportunity to observe and analyze them up close as part of their ecosystem studies.

From the youngest learners to middle schoolers, students at Yeshivat He’Atid are developing a love for science through exploration, inquiry and discovery.
