Six60One Holds Pre-Shavuot Tasting Event

On Sunday, May 25, Six60One, a kosher supermarket in the Upper West Side with a wide variety of grocery items as well as prepared foods, held a pre-Shavuot tasting event, showcasing different cheeses, soups, pastas, salads, quiches, cheesecake, and more.

“Basically, the idea behind the tasting event was to bring the community together and get more people to know about us and taste our food,” stated “Eli Deli” of Six60One. (The “Deli” moniker is used to differentiate between the two Elis working in the store.)

The event was also a fun way for neighborhood residents to gather, stated Eli. “We try to serve and we try to take care of the community.” The Link asked several people in the store how they enjoyed the tasting, and all responded that the food was great.

It seemed obvious from the festive and cheerful environment at the event that everyone loves having Six60One in the neighborhood. Stated Liran Messinger, “I love the sense of community at Six60One and the fact that there are so many options. Six60One is a one-stop shop for everything you need from Shabbat shopping to grocery shopping and everyday noshing.”
