RPRY teachers do not expect their students to learn strong academic skills in a vacuum. The same approach extends to strong social-emotional skills. As part of RPRY’s SEL (social-emotional learning) programming, across all grades, children build their emotional language and practice social interactions with peers. Kindergarten students enjoyed their weekly Second Step program with social work intern, Zev Kraizler, practicing these crucial skills.
