The Jewish Link and Drink Up would like to recognize Chaim Simon as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. Chaim is an eighth grader at the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey (RYNJ) and Camp Overtime hockey champion, best known for his stick handling and scoring as a member of the RYNJ Jaguars hockey team. When asked about Chaim, RYNJ Middle School Boys Principal Rabbi Avi Bernstein told The Jewish Link, “Chaim is an incredible combination of determination and wit. While watching him play hockey, I’ve always seen his tenacity. His grit on the court plays itself out in school as well. Chaim is driven to succeed.”
