The Drink Up Jewish Link Sportstar of the Week: Sarah Motechin

The Jewish Link and Drink Up would like to recognize Sarah Motechin as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. Motechin is a rising junior at the Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls. The 15 year old just completed her first year at Ma’ayanot and has already left her mark on the Rapids, as a member of the basketball and softball teams. Most notably, when she connected for the winning hit in her first softball game as a Rapid. When asked about Motechin, a spectator told The Jewish Link, “Sarah is a great kid, who I have had the pleasure of watching play for Yavneh Youth League, MGBL, RYNJ and now Ma’ayanot. More impressive than her skills on the court is the smile that never leaves her face and the middos she plays with.”
