(BCFL) Last Sunday, the Bergen County Flag Football League launched its sophomore year with a week of amazing preseason games. The BCFLers played hard and had a great time despite the sporadic torrential downpours. BCFL co-commissioner Steve Gutlove told The Jewish Link, “The boys all left the field a little wet, but feeling great after a solid day of football.”

This year the players are sporting reversible home and road jerseys that look almost identical to the ones the pros wear. A parent who was at the games told The Jewish Link, “The jerseys looked so real. If they were any more authentic, I would have had to pay admission to watch them play.”
