(Ma’ayanot) Sunday morning presented windy conditions for Rapids and Cobras while they played outdoor soccer. Luckily the rain held out and they were able to stay dry. The Rapids came out aggressive with two goals in the first half from juniors Meital Rimberg and Aliza Guzman. The Kushner Cobras didn’t let up and knocked in a goal in the first half. Rimberg knocked in four more goals against Kushner. Assists came from Guzman, senior Joey Friedman, freshman Adi Hirschkorn, and senior Aleeza Goldberg. Freshman goalie Chana Isaacs had 14 saves. Final score: 6-3. The Rapids head to Kushner on October 31, for a rematch.
