Since Oct. 11, 2023, four days after the outbreak of the war, Boots for Israel, a totally volunteer organization founded by Yakir Wachstock, has been working tirelessly to provide the IDF with much-needed combat boots. To date, BFI has donated an excess of 80,000 pairs of boots, mainly to the more than 350,000 reservists called into duty on Oct. 7. But, with the war continuing, the demand for new boots remains high with over 15,000 orders waiting to be fulfilled.
To meet this growing need, Boots for Israel will be hosting an online charity auction through April 23. This charity auction will feature historical treasures linked to Israel’s soldiers and pioneers. All proceeds will go directly to Boots for Israel to support their ongoing efforts.
The auction will offer a wide range of objects with deep historical and sentimental value. Curated by a team of experts, the items include artwork, Judaica, antiques, coins, and much more. Each piece has been carefully selected to highlight its connection to Israel’s rich history. The best part? Every piece comes with a 100% authenticity guarantee, ensuring that purchases are not only meaningful, but also a true collector’s item.

The process for participating in the auction is simple. Once you place a bid, you’ll receive an automated email confirmation. If you are outbid, you’ll be notified, giving you the opportunity to place another bid. The auction is conducted in a silent and blind format, meaning that bidders’ information remains confidential. For those who win, they will receive an email with a link to make their donation, which will be equal to the final bid amount.
The proceeds from the auction will go directly toward supporting Boots for Israel, helping to provide more boots for IDF soldiers who are putting their lives on the line to protect the Jewish people. By participating in the auction, the Jewish community is not just purchasing unique items, they’re contributing to the safety and well-being of Israel’s soldiers.
Curio Auctions, the host of this event, specializes in charity auctions and offers pro-bono services to Jewish nonprofits, helping them raise funds and engage supporters. For those who know of a worthy cause that could benefit from an auction, Curio encourages them to reach out and learn more about how they can assist.
Don’t miss this opportunity to support a great cause while acquiring one-of-a-kind artifacts that tell the story of Israel’s history.

- A pair of combat boots worn during Israel’s War of Independence.
