TABC opened its doors to over 250 prospective students and their parents on Sunday morning, October 29, for the school’s annual Open House. The program opened with a moving video tribute to TABC’s 100 alumni who have served in the IDF, over 40 of whom are currently on the frontlines of Operation Swords of Iron. Included in the video were clips of several of these alumni directly from their bases who sent greetings to their friends and family back home and thanked the TABC community for their tefillot, letters and well-wishes. Head of School Rabbi Shlomo Stochel then led attendees in the recitation of Tehillim and addressed the guests, followed by student speaker Aryeh Eizikovitz ‘25 (Bergenfield) who spoke eloquently about his own journey as a TABC student. Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Joshua Kahn addressed attendees about the unique and unparalleled simcha that transcends all aspects of the TABC experience before introducing the video presentation which featured an inside look at a single day in the life at TABC.

Following the opening program, TABC shared its commitment to ensuring the success of each individual learner as teachers and rebbeim engaged over 800 prospective students and parents in dynamic sessions covering a range of topics related to academics and student life. Parents also got to select mini-lessons and shiurim to attend from a menu of a dozen offerings ranging from a high-level Gemara shiur to broadcasting to physics in the time of the Beit Hamikdash. The event concluded with a lunch and Student Life Fair, where academic departments, clubs, publications and athletic and academic teams were set up around the perimeter of the gym. Student ambassadors and current parents contributed to the warmth of the event and, as always, TABC’s legendary school spirit was a highlight of the day.
