Teaneck Public Schools is launching the development of a new strategic plan — a roadmap that will guide the district’s priorities and progress in the years to come. All members of the community are invited to attend a Community Kickoff Meeting on Monday, April 28, at 6 p.m, hosted in the Teaneck High School Student Center.
This important meeting will introduce the strategic planning process, highlight the vital role of community engagement, and outline opportunities to get involved — including participation in steering committees. The goal is to ensure that the voices of students, families, educators and community partners are reflected in the plan’s development from the very beginning.
Why Your Voice Matters
A strong strategic plan reflects the values, hopes and needs of the entire community — not just those directly involved with the schools. Whether residents have children attend public, private or parochial school — or no school-aged children at all — their perspective can help shape a stronger, more connected future for everyone in Teaneck. Public schools are a cornerstone of the community, and their success benefits everyone.
Collaboration is at the heart of a successful school district, and this plan will only be as strong as the input received from those who live, learn and work in Teaneck. Parents, teachers, students, alumni and local residents are all encouraged to participate and share their voices.
