In honor of their children Judah and Hannah’s bar and bat mitzvah, Avi and Aviva Vogel from Teaneck sponsored a party for lone soldiers at the Lone Soldier Center in Jerusalem.

In addition to a live band, full bar and delicious catered meat meal, the Vogels presented the center with a brand-new Playstation gaming center and hundreds of beautiful cards from the children at RYNJ.

For their incredible generosity, Judah and Hannah were presented with monogrammed Lone Soldier Center backpacks.

Bella Koslowe, also from Teaneck, raised money to donate a new fridge and freezer for the Lone Soldier Center as part of her bat mitzvah project. It was important for Bella to do something special for soldiers because her grandfather was a soldier, and this was her way of thanking all the lone soldiers for keeping Israel safe. Bella was inspired to do this chesed after she heard a lone soldier speak at Yeshivat Noam of Paramus.
