Tenafly Chabad middle school came alive with spirit, energy and holiness during this year’s unforgettable Color War, centered around the theme of Kedusha (holiness). Students were divided into two vibrant teams: Yerushalayim and Shabbat, each exploring the deep and powerful sanctity found in both the holy city of Jerusalem and the sacred day of rest.
Throughout the week, students showcased their creativity, teamwork, leadership and ruach through a wide range of activities—from Torah trivia and divrei Torah, to art, music and dramatic presentations. Their projects reflected a deep understanding and appreciation for the unique ways holiness manifests in both time and place. Whether they were performing powerful stomp presentations, composing an original song or collaborating on an inspiring banner, the students infused every moment with meaning and passion.
More than just a competition, this Color War was a celebration of kedusha made real—through laughter, learning, unity and heart. The halls of the school were filled with a radiant energy that truly embodied the spirit of Shabbat and Yerushalayim—reminding us that holiness lives wherever we bring it.
