Tenafly Chabad had the great privilege to partner with Mosaics by Miriam in Israel to sponsor an interactive workshop for the resilient women of Har Choma, whose husbands are doing active reserve duty in the Israeli army. The women transformed broken glass into stunning Mezuzot for their homes. The creative process carried a profound message: just as the shattered glass can be rebuilt into something beautiful, so too can they heal and strengthen themselves through love, support and care. Eighth graders had the opportunity to create some of these Mezuzot as well. They will be sent back to Israel to be donated to different places including various army bases.
