Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Thank You for Joining Our ‘Together for Bergen 37’ Kickoff Event

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

This past Thursday, I had the honor of launching my campaign for the New Jersey General Assembly in District 37, surrounded by friends, neighbors and community leaders. It was a powerful reminder of something I’ve always believed:our community is strongest when we stand together.

For decades, I’ve worked on behalf of our community, from serving on the Teaneck Council to leading and supporting numerous civic and Jewish organizations. I’ve been deeply engaged in the issues that matter most to our families—strengthening education, improving public safety, investing in infrastructure and tackling affordability.

Now, I’m running for Assembly because I know I can deliver even more for the people of District 37.

With my experience, there’s no learning curve. I’m ready to get to work on day one. I understand how government functions, how to navigate complex challenges, and how to bring people together to find real solutions. Together with my running mate, Rosemary Hernandez Carroll, we represent a slate rooted in service, unity and action, and we’re ready to fight for the values and needs of our district.

To everyone who came out to support our kickoff, thank you. Your encouragement fuels this campaign and I look forward to the work ahead, the conversations to come and the progress we’ll make together.

Warmly,
Yitz Stern

Dear Bergen County Family,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who came out to our Together for Bergen 37 campaign kickoff! The energy in that room was electric, a true testament to what’s possible when people from all walks of life come together around shared values and shared hope.

I’m proud to stand alongside my running mate, Yitz Stern, and even prouder to stand up for families like ours—families who work hard, care deeply and deserve leaders who show up, listen and deliver. Whether it’s housing affordability, education, small-business growth or safer neighborhoods, our campaign is rooted in real issues and bold solutions that put people first.

This race isn’t about politics; it’s about people. It’s about showing up for one another, lifting up our communities and building a future where everyone has a fair shot. We’re just getting started. And with your help, we’ll take this momentum all the way to Trenton.

To the Jewish community preparing for Passover, I wish you a meaningful and joyful holiday. May this season of reflection and renewal bring light to your homes and strength to our shared commitment to justice, freedom and unity.

Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep building together.

With gratitude and hope,
Rosemary Hernandez Carroll
