Moriah’s early childhood students are busy preparing for the upcoming Jewish holidays of Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah. The classrooms are abuzz with creativity and excitement as the children work on beautiful decorations for the sukkah, adding their personal touch to make the holiday extra special. In connection with Yom Kippur, they are bringing the story of Yona and the whale to life through imaginative recreations, deepening their understanding of the holiday’s themes. As Simchat Torah approaches, the children are also busy decorating flags, ready to wave them in celebration of the Torah. These hands-on activities help the students engage with the holidays in a meaningful and joyous way.
