On April 30, The Jewish Center hosted an Upper West Side community-wide Yom Hazikaron commemoration and Yom Ha’Atzmaut celebration, with many local shuls and organizations participating. The program featured music from Chazan Jonathan Green (The Jewish Center), Chazan Yanky Lemmer (Lincoln Square Synagogue), and Chazan Zevi Muller (West Side Institutional Synagogue), as well as words of remembrance and inspiration from Noy Leb, Strong Voices for Israel, and many others.
